Well, 3 years ago His and I set off for New York in hopes of getting our Juris Doctorate. On Friday, May 15th we received them. From now on you can address us as His and Her, J.D.
I can personally attest to this distinction - I was a witness. I saw the physical receipt of the document and the acceptance with a handshake. Sounds like a contract to me.
