I survived my first Rugby game, although I am a little drunk right now (it makes the injuries less noticeable). We lost, badly. abut we improved. We had to borrow three players from our opponents team so that we could field a full team. And then one of them got kicked out. So we played the first half down a player.
I really enjoyed the game altought I felt completely clueless. I had a great time tackeling and our scrum rocked. We only lost one scrum out of about 20. So yeah us! Here's some pictures that his took:

This is me running lines. You have to turn your hip and pass the ball backwards., Its sometiems confusing. Do you like my head band?

Yeah, it wasn't a head band. I had to get my ears taped back. Why? Because second rows (thats me) have their head shoved between a couple of thighs and run a huge risk of having thier ears ripped off.

THE SCRUM! This is the one thing we rocked at. You can kind of see me on the left. I"m the only one with white socks. Seriously, we only lost one scrum, thank you very much. We did a really good job with that. This is the only time I knew what I was doing, so scrum downs were my favorite.

This is one of the out of bounds plays. I'm right behind the girl getting lifted up. I'm still not sure why we do this, but it looks cool.

Albany Law Women's Rudby ROCKS the scrums!!!
Not to mention they have Cami on their side - tackle pro!!
Cami, I can't believe how cute you look with your ears taped down. I definitely think that it is worth it since not having any ears is kind of wierd. YOU ARE THE SCRUM LORD!!! HaHAha get it???
NEVER change the white socks Cami. In fact, I suggest wearing them with EVERYTHING! Make a statement.
Cute Pics!

I know how great I looked with my ears taped down. It made it hard to hear too.
Jill, I hate to break it to you but I've had to change the socks. They were covered in blood and mud, so I've had to change them. Hopefully next game i'll get the cool looking maroon socks.
This looks alot like football to me. You know how I feel about you playing football. What's a mother to do?
Hopefully there are no walls for you to run into.
Mom,
It is a lot like football, but without the pads. I get to use that awesome spin move that Bob taught me =).
And no walls, just very, very large women.
